Evelyn Scott was an American novelist, playwright and poet. She was a modernist and experimental writer. She sometimes wrote under the pseudonym of Ernest Souza, and sometimes under her birth name of Elsie Dunn.
Her first husband was Frederick Creighton Wellman, who sometimes wrote under the pseudonym of Cyril Kay-Scott.
