Carolyn Kelly was the daughter of the great cartoonist Walt Kelly. In addition to editing the Complete Pogo, she redid many of the strips for publication.

This is the first volume of a complete reprinting of the popular comic strip set in the Okeefenokee Swamp and includes strips from 1948 through 1950, including both the black and white dailies and the color Sundays.
