Dorothy A. Bennett

Dorothy Bennett served as Assistant Curator at the American Museum of Natural History. She was an explorer and lecturer and wrote many books and articles. She was the first head of the Hayden Planetarium. She co-founded the Little Golden Books with Georges Duplaix, becoming its first editor. After leaving Little Golden Books in 1954 she studied archaeology and became a senior anthropologist at the University of California, Berkeley.
