Peter Bowman

Peter Bowman is a Cheshire based Artist, Illustrator and Author of many years experience. Working as an Author and Illustrator in watercolours, pencil, pen & ink, to create very beautiful detailed illustrations for many Children’s books and Commercial illustration. Pete’s early work was influenced by artists such as Salvador Dali, Nicola Bailey, Shirley Hughes, Kate Greenaway and Arthur Rackham. Pete’s first commission on leaving Art College was to illustrate The Rudyard Kipling ‘Just So’ books for Mothercare. Also one of Pete’s books, “Is That What Friends Do?” was the first children’s book to be featured on CBeebies - TV

Another creation of Pete’s is ‘Tiny Ted’, follow the adventures of the worlds smallest teddy bear. He has created many other characters. Including two bears for Interflora, named ‘Sweet William & Rose’.
