Miriam Clark Potter was born in Minneapolis. She graduated from the University of Minnesota. Sold story to Youth’s Companion at age 14. Married Zenas Potter a newspaper man. After living in Mexico and France and India, she settled in Carmel, California.
Other titles include The Golden Book of Little Verses, Goofy Mrs. Goose, Just Mrs. Goose, and No, No, Mrs. Goose!
