Money in the Bank (1942)
Lord Uffenham has forgotten where he put the diamonds. Meanwhile he is working as a butler for his tenant who has turned Shipley Hall into a health farm. His niece Anne is engaged to the wrong man, but finds Jeff in the end. This novel was written while P.G. Wodehouse was in a German internment camp during World War II.

Spring Fever (1948)
The Earl of Shortlands (who looks like a butler) and his butler (who, naturally, looks like an Earl) are competing for the hand of Mrs. Punter, the cook. There are two other couples at the Castle and Hollywood comes into it. Wodehouse made this novel into a play for E.E. Horton, which was not produced so he turned the play back into a novel, The Old Reliable.
