Peter Christen Asbjørnsen

Norwegian zoologist, forester and folklorist. He collaborated with Jorgen Engebretsen Moe to write the most comprehensive collection of Norwegian folk tales, Popular Tales from the Norse. The work was largely translated into English by George Webbe Dasent.
