Nora Archibald Smith
(1859 - 1934)
Nora Archibald Smith was the sister of Kate Douglas Wiggin. She was involved in the early development of the kindergarten movement in California. She wrote and edited (often with her sister) many children’s books and books on education including The Republic of Childhood.
