Ruth A. Barnes was born in Ohio in 1891. She went to Michigan State Normal college, then was an English teacher. She always saw herself as a Tomboy.


I Hear America Singing (1937)

This is a collection of poems about cowboys, and trains, trappers and sawyers from the Atlantic to the Pacific and the Northwoods to the Gulf.  The dark blue library binding is the JLG edition.  The grey binding is the trade binding.
