Walter Russell Bowie

Walter Russell Bowie was an ordained Episcopalian priest. He became a friend of future president Fanklin Delano Roosevelt at Harvard University. He served congregations in Virginia and New York and worked in seminaries. In addition to books, he wrote several hymns, some of which are still in use.
